Nothing quite says fall like a birthday party out at a farm. Especially when there are farm animals, tracker rides and pies. I was lucky enough to shoot an adorable 1st birthday for a lucky little boy and his friends.

Fall is officially here and that means it is time for fall mini sessions. This year's mini session will be taking place the weekend of October 4, 5 and 6th. The sessions are 30 minutes and include 15 high-resolution photos via digital download for the flat rate of $395. Dates: Friday, October 4 ~ Summit, NJ (urban/street) Saturday, October 5 ~ Chatham, NJ (park) Sunday, October 6 ~ New York City (west village)

seattle friends

This is what can happen in 15 minutes before heading to the airport. We were down in Seattle staying with my good friend on the last leg of our west coast summer when I quickly took some shots of her sweet family. Erin and I met 14 years ago when we were web producers in Soho. We shared many lunch-day laughs as we ate our Dean and Deluca salads on the back-steps of the Prada store and people watched over at the Mercer Hotel. Even though we haven't lived in the same city for years, we have been besties ever since. Hopefully one day we will be on the same coast. Fingers crossed!

Our last day in BC was spent on the beautiful island of Bowen. I have such fond memories of spending weekends over there at one of my best friend's cabin. There is such a peacefulness and calmness felt the minute you step foot on the island. Jumping into the cool Pacific Ocean will be one of my favorite memories of this summer holiday.

On my annual trip out to Calgary it has become a tradition that I photograph my sister's family. I had planned a few locations within Calgary but their property is so gorgeous that we opted to stay on it to shoot early one morning. Luckily we didn't encounter any deer, coyotes, moose or other creatures like we have on a few occasions. Now thats the country I say!
