There is something wonderful about 2 families coming together to celebrate their Grandparent's 50 wedding anniversary. Even though I was only with them a couple of hours I couldn't have been happier to document this families love together. The last photo says it all!
This blog post has absolutely nothing to do with babies, children or families but I just thought I would share. Last month while visiting the National Aquarium in Baltimore I was blown away by the jellyfish exhibit they had going on. I could have spent a much longer time just looking at these incredible creatures but my two little ones were pulling on me to go check out the dolphin show, so instead I quickly snapped some photos of them. Is it just me or are these pretty amazing?
I had the great pleasure of photographing Baby Charlie's baptism in New York last weekend. He was a total prince and didn't even flinch when the baptism water was poured on him. It was a beautiful day all around. And that view in your new pad isn't too shabby either L & D ;-)
A little sneak peek for three cuties that I met a couple of weeks ago. Fall is in full swing and I should remind everyone that if you are interested in getting on my fall/holiday schedule please contact me sooner rather then later. This little dude was the cutest! From the moment I got there he was all smiles and giggles until he had just had enough, and even then he continued to be so sweet by just falling asleep in his daddy's arms. Thanks Kerry and Joe for a great morning!
It was a cloudy and overcast day but that didn't stop us from enjoying a few hours over on Governor's Island. In the summer it is open on the weekends and you can take a free ferry over from either the city or Brooklyn. We brought our bikes and had a great day exploring the island. I highly suggest it for all of you local folks!
I moved away from Canada 13 years ago, but it barely feels like that many years until I come across something that jars my memory back to my younger days. One of those items is the good ol' Mr. Freeze. I'd forgotten all about them until I was at this shoot and we stopped at a little convenience store to get the boys a treat. They choose a Mr. Freeze and I couldn't believe that I had forgotten about them. They were my treat of choice after my summer swimming lessons as my sister and I would ride our bikes back home and eat them on our front lawn. Memories are a great thing! Of course other great memories are this family. We go way back and it was so great to see them and spend time with their two littles. Thanks P+W for the fun evening!
