It's always nice to go back to your roots and meeting at this particular location did it for me. Shooting this family session at Spanish Banks brought back so many great memories for me that I was thrilled when these old friends suggested it. Nothing is better then catching up, getting to know their children since unfortunately we live so darn far away from each other and witnessing a fun family skipping rocks, playing bocce ball and flips in the air! The US Open is coming up guys ... I think you need to make another trip out east ;-)

Our Canadian holiday is coming to an end in a few short days and I have many photo sessions and images to share, but in the meantime I wanted to blog a quick evening shoot I did of my sister's family. Her new home is located on 5 acres so there were lots of places for the cousins to get into mischief and play around. Can hardly wait to see the pond as a hockey rink in the winter months.

We found ourselves with a free afternoon and the girls wanted to get their "craft on" so we headed over to Collage Collage in Vancouver. What a sweet store it is! It is full of great books, art work and every type of cool craft your child will want. It was great to meet you Erin, you have an amazing little gem of a store! Can't wait to come back next year.

Monty the Moose + One Direction | personal
Five cousins under the age of 10 have a "LOT" to talk about, and by a lot I mean they all don't stop talking from the moment they wake up in the morning to the moment we make them turn out the lights to go to sleep. Within the past 3 days we have covered a lot of ground -- saw a real moose on the side of the road with her baby, took part in my first real pancake breakfast at the Calgary Stampede, went to a Super Dogs show, the kids went on about 30 rides within a 2 hour period, we visited a fun water park to cool off from this brutal summer heat, ate Pirates Packs at White Spot and I learned more about One Direction then I care to know. Of course the kids are having the time of their lives and are loving every moment with their cousins.
