I can't believe 2011 is nearly over. How did that happen? Thank you to all my amazing friends and clients for your unbelievable support this year. I couldn't have done it without you and I truly appreciate your business. Can't wait for 2012!

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and get to spend lots of time with your loved ones.

duck watching | maplewood,nj family lifestyle photographer

Now that I am starting to come up for air, I can catch up on blogging all of the wonderful fall sessions I had. It is so fun to see holiday cards starting to pour in of images I took this year. Keep them coming ... I love seeing them all!

I met this new family (to me) in Maplewood and we had a great time walking around and documenting an afternoon in their town. I alway think how great it will be in 20 years to look back at images especially ones in front of a local movie theatre. What number will they be at of Happy Feet in 2031?

heading back home | new york city family photographer

This lovely family is heading back home to Australia after a year long stint in NYC. They wanted to capture some images of their life downtown before they pack their bags and fly off. It was so hard to narrow their gallery down because all of the images we took were so great. It helps to have willing teenage girls who don't run away from me like the younger set that I usually photograph ;-) I hope your last few weeks on American soil is amazing! It was so nice to meet you all.

dinosaurs and whales | personal

We have a little boy who has been begging us for weeks to go into the city to see the "dinosaurs" at the American Museum of Natural History so rather then heading down to DC like we had planned to after Thanksgiving, we decided to ditch our plans and instead hopped into the car and drove into the city. We booked a room and reminisced what it was like before kids. We searched out dinosaurs and whales, ate chinese food on the UWS, walked through Times Square with the millions of tourists, leisurely "brunched" on Sunday morning, saw "the tree" and swam like fishes in the hotel swimming pool 45 floors up.

After 36 hours my batteries were recharged and we headed home to finish up the mountain of editing and packaging I had for all my clients. For a large majority of you who are waiting your goodies, I just took a whole stack to the post office this afternoon so you should all be receiving your parcels early next week. Just want to let everyone know that December 9th is my holiday deadline for any clients needing to order products.
