My thoughts are with everyone who is going through so much this week. We just got power yesterday and I am finally starting to edit all of the wonderful clients that I was able to squeeze in before Sandy made her way to the east coast. I promise I will do my best to get your galleries up as soon as possible. For everyone who had sessions last Sunday, this weekend or next I will be in contact directly with you. Stay warm and safe everyone!

This blog post has absolutely nothing to do with babies, children or families but I just thought I would share. Last month while visiting the National Aquarium in Baltimore I was blown away by the jellyfish exhibit they had going on. I could have spent a much longer time just looking at these incredible creatures but my two little ones were pulling on me to go check out the dolphin show, so instead I quickly snapped some photos of them. Is it just me or are these pretty amazing?

It was a cloudy and overcast day but that didn't stop us from enjoying a few hours over on Governor's Island. In the summer it is open on the weekends and you can take a free ferry over from either the city or Brooklyn. We brought our bikes and had a great day exploring the island. I highly suggest it for all of you local folks!
collage collage | vancouver, bc
We found ourselves with a free afternoon and the girls wanted to get their "craft on" so we headed over to Collage Collage in Vancouver. What a sweet store it is! It is full of great books, art work and every type of cool craft your child will want. It was great to meet you Erin, you have an amazing little gem of a store! Can't wait to come back next year.

Monty the Moose + One Direction | personal
Five cousins under the age of 10 have a "LOT" to talk about, and by a lot I mean they all don't stop talking from the moment they wake up in the morning to the moment we make them turn out the lights to go to sleep. Within the past 3 days we have covered a lot of ground -- saw a real moose on the side of the road with her baby, took part in my first real pancake breakfast at the Calgary Stampede, went to a Super Dogs show, the kids went on about 30 rides within a 2 hour period, we visited a fun water park to cool off from this brutal summer heat, ate Pirates Packs at White Spot and I learned more about One Direction then I care to know. Of course the kids are having the time of their lives and are loving every moment with their cousins.
