I love the idea of instant photos and instagram is just that. Take a quick snapshot on your phone, upload it to instagram, add a cool filter and presto you have yourself a great unique image. I've been playing around with it since last year and still love it. Kind of like twitter (which I couldn't quite get into) only with pictures. Try it, you'll like it! I have a new love and his name is ... the Parker Palm Springs. I sound like a travel advertisement but the minute I stepped foot into this hotel I was blown away by the beauty; hence why there are so many photos of the property. We had an amazing time with all of the swimming, lemonade drinking, orange and lemon tree picking (sshhh) and eating. It was a wonderful, relaxing stay and I can't wait to return.
This year for M's b-day I took her into the city to see Mary Poppins on Broadway. We spent the morning walking around my old neighborhood in the West Village. We went to my all time favorite brunch place which surprisingly is still there and then walked by my old apartment which "still" has my name on -- that always makes me laugh. Then it was onto some shopping around the MPD and up to see the show. I see a new birthday tradition forming.
