I absolutely love this time of year. The leaves are at their prime and the air is nice and crisp. The other day I came home from a photo shoot and heard laughter in the backyard. As soon as I saw what my monkeys were doing I quickly grabbed my camera and shot away. Nothing better then playing tackle football in the leaves that ends with a tickle war.

how to make a little boy feel better .. fast!
This being my 100th post I thought I would put up some shots of J that I took of him the other day. He was home from school and not feeling well so in order to make him feel better I said he could jump on his bed for a bit. He raced upstairs and after some jumping, picked up his favorite book to read. Its the little things ...

and they are off ...
no peaches, but apples there were
We went on a mission to pick some peaches but once we got there we were told there were no more for the year, but the apples were ready to be picked. Apple picking already!?! How can this be? We were disappointed for a moment until we eyed the big blue Honey Crisp sign. For all you locals, Hillview Farms has them and they are simply delicious!

summer - part 6
These are the last of the summer photos. I can't believe it is almost back to school time. The summer has definitely flown by. I am scheduling now for September, October and November so think ahead to fall/holidays and give me a call or email. For local folks I have some awesome fall locations scouted out. Also, my mini session schedule will be up in a couple of days so don't forget to check back. Hope you are all enjoying the last remaining days of summer!
summer - part 5
Our summer continued with a full-on New England adventure. In a matter of 10 days we drove through 7 states, slept in many hotel rooms, petted lots of animals, milked a cow, enjoyed 3 lobster dinners, ate way too many ice cream cones to count, biked 24 miles in one morning, stopped for a moose, went antiquing, got to see 11 one-day old piglets and their big fat mamma (photos to come), and overall had a wonderful time. Many fun-filled memories were created on our journey. Now onto the photos...

summer - part 4
I was reading in the hotel room one night when I turned my head to the window and couldn't believe my eyes. The sky was setting with a gazillion beautiful colors. Besides the beauty of Bermuda, this trip will always remind me of the hundreds of games of Angelina Ballerina UNO that M made me play with her. Good times!

summer - part 3
Our summer vacation continued onto Bermuda where I was blown away by its beauty. Being able to swim in the crystal clear ocean where all kinds of fish are swimming beneath you is breathtaking. The kids and I came across a cove which we referred to as "baby beach" because the waves were not too harsh and we could wade in and out while making sand castles and trying to catch fish in our bucket. We were not too successful with the latter. More photos to come of our adventures ...
