Many mornings were spent down at Granville Island feeding the pigeons and then off to the Kids Only Market for the big kids to play in the jungle gym. We arrived into town during a heat wave and then it cooled off so much I felt like it was fall. Crazy weather.

The cousins all got together in Vancouver for some backyard summer fun in the "cold" hot tub.
weekend of balloons and sprinklers
We headed out to the Balloon Festival before the sun even rose on Saturday to see 125 hot air balloons take flight. It was a great morning with lots of color and balloons filling the sky. And then after naps the kids amused themselves under the sprinkler and with pop-ups.

Last Sunday we drove down to Trenton to see the Yankees farm team. M+J were mainly interested in what junk food they could consume. After hots dogs, cotton candy, lemonade, chips and italian ice their bellies were finally happy.

Molly had just gotten back from a Miley Cyrus birthday party and was working on her "rock star" look.

governor's island
A few weekends ago we spent the day out at Governor's Island watching Prince Harry play in a charity polo match. As well, we had a picnic lunch and it was Family Day so they were giving away free bike helmets to the entire family. A good day was had by all.
end of year activities
The school year is over and that means lots of end of year activities coming to a close. Molly had her Ballet Recital on Saturday and Jack got his "gold" medal at Little Gym.
